Well it has been an adventure to say the least. Our family has always loved Great Danes and we have had two in the past and we could not wait to have another addition to our family. We were originally planning on getting our new Great Dane puppy next spring – but then came Kingston. We found CK Harlequins and their love of their danes captured our hearts and we knew whatever pup we ended up with would come from amazing blood lines and from a home of nothing but love!~ As a matter of fact today when we loaded Kingston into our vehicle, the breeder cried….and then I cried…and then my daughter cried. My daughter had no idea we were getting our newest furry family member today and was ecstatic when we arrived at the breeders house and we were surrounded by hundreds of pounds of dog…but when she saw the tears of the breeder….she cried. She was so sad for them…not realizing that Kingston is in a new home filled with people who have wanted him for a long time. Welcome to the family King!
Kingston is only 3 1/2 months old…he will be 4 months on January 10th. But check out how big this boy is going to be…this is my daughters 11-year-0ld hands….
First day home and we have had only one accident (wow – big and smelly!!) lol…but we love him anyway
how could we not..just look at how cute he is!
Every month we will keep taking the same picture to see just how big he is going to grow – and just how fast. Not sure what his weight is right now – can’t wait to find out. But here is his full 3 1/2 month old size. Stay tuned for next month and see how big he gets in just a short time

I think he’s as big at 3 1/2 months as our lab Nestle is full grown! Congrats to you guys, he is ADORABLE!
Thanks Ash
We think so!
Hi: I must agree with your first responder, he is very handsome. As a matter of fact we had a hard time choosing between Kingston(nee Roscoe) and his brother Jake(nee Barkley) We got Jake on the 21st of November and have had a wonderful time watching him play with his new sister Maggie. She is a cross between a Great Dane and a Newfoundland. Although she is a little too much for him at the moment he is quickly catching up. She isn’t quite 2 yrs old yet and is still a goofy puppy. She weighs about 110 lbs and he was weighed at the vet’s on Tuesday at 78.6 lbs. These are the first dogs we have had in a few years . We have had one great dane before and a variety of retrievers, daschound, and a newfoundland /St. Bernard cross. We love big dogs and are looking forward to a lot of fun. My computer has been down and I haven’t had time to load my photos. I will send a picture soon. Congradulations and have fun with your new puppy. Sincerely Helen Perrin and family
How exciting!!! I would LOVE to see pictures!!! What a great breeder! I’m so happy he attached my blog posting – we can now all keep in touch on the litter of pups
Kingston is doing great! SUCH a cuddly “lap dog” lol!!!
Thanks Helen for sharing your story. I can’t wait to see his brother!

Hi from Calgary! I am also the owner of one of the siblings in your pup’s litter (found your blog off of Clark’s website). I have the merle and I have named him Rocky Road. He is a hoot to have around! I have also waited a very long time for my first GD and I am so glad he is now in my life (finally)
Wow – you came all the way from Calgary to pick up a pup? Awww….that’s awesome! Congratulations on your dane! I hope life has been good with him and we would LOVE to see pictures!! Thanks Caitlin for sharing

I actually got him shipped to me on the plane! What an adventure! How would I go about sending some pictures?
Hi all,
Outstanding photographs of Kingston!! He is so handsome.
We have Neera the harlequin female with one patch on her right eye. At first the kids were ready to bring home both Neera and Barkley but our bylaws here only allow 2 dogs and we also have an Irish Setter.
Neera weighs in at 80 pounds this week.
I too have some pics to share if any interest.
Cheers,
Angie
I would love to see pictures Angie!!!
